Each frame is designed in their Notting Hill studio and then made in Italy by a small team of experienced craftspeople. Their collections are produced in small, considered batches and their supply chain fully traceable. MONC have sought to create a circular production model where they use as much of their own waste as possible. In their most recent Conscious Collection MONC have started using bio-acetate, which unlike acetate is not petroleum-based. It is made without the use of fossil fuels, using sustainable plant cellulose from cotton and wood pulp, which makes it 100% biodegradable and recyclable.
