Small Beer make great tasting, lower alcohol beer that’s brewed sustainably in London. They are reinvigorating a lost tradition and have built their bespoke brewing kit, designed to exclusively produce lower alcohol beer - up to 2.8% ABV. They’re the world's first dedicated small beer brewery.
A typical pint of beer requires 8-10 pints of water, this brewing kit requires just 1 ½ pints of water to brew one pint of Small Beer.
Not only do their unique recipes taste great, Small Beer also became London’s first B Corp brewery back in 2019. From their ‘dry floor’ policy that saves hundreds of litres of water every day to carefully collecting the spent grain and delivering it to a farm partner to be used as cattle feed, Small Beer consider their impact at every stage of the production process.
Their beers even come in stubby bottles that mean they can fit more into deliveries and reduce their carbon footprint. You’ll find crisp lager, creamy darker beers and low-alcohol IPAs as well as some lovely gift packs on their site.
