Whilst it’s almost impossible for brands to tick every box when it comes to ethics, we think it’s important to acknowledge those that are making a positive difference. We have defined a list of core values that unite this community.

Simply put, greenwashing is when companies deceptively market their products, services, or company as a whole, as ‘green’ or ‘greener’ than they are in reality. The term was coined back in the 1980s to describe outrageous corporate environmental claims that masked the truth.
‘I have had my share of skin problems and reactions. After a gruelling time I eventually cut down to the most basic thing. Just one oil. Nothing else. I would change the blend depending on the season or what I felt like experimenting with but I stopped using any face wash or scrubs or moisturisers. And guess what? My face was doing fine without them. Maybe even better.’

After the long drive from London we arrived at The Welsh House, our home for the next 3 days, and were greeted on the long gravel drive by the property’s sweet cat Mrs Jones. Soon after, we were welcomed officially by owner Dorian, who opened the door of the cottage with the words ‘welcome to the past’.
Sadly, like many natural fibres, wool has fallen victim to overproduction, misuse and misunderstanding, therefore as with most products, there are good and bad ways of sourcing it.
