Beautiful jewellery that doesn't cost the earth

‘You can learn a lot about a person’s style, sometimes even their personality, from the jewellery they wear, especially when it’s been thoughtfully chosen.’

Buying jewellery is something that cannot be rushed or taken lightly. That may sound a little over the top but we feel the same way about jewellery as we do most things in life, we like to know where it's come from, who it’s been designed/made by and what the story is behind it. Fashion trends come and go, but many of us will hold a few timeless pieces of much-loved jewellery close to our hearts and it’s those pieces that we find so intriguing.

Although new designs may be tempting we believe buying less but buying better is the best way to approach purchasing jewellery. Spending time finding pieces that we know will last, that have been produced with environmental and social impact in mind, is time well spent. And, the process far more enjoyable than fighting the crowds on Oxford Street for the latest must-have.

Not long ago we discovered Lines & Current. Their elegant, yet simple style is timeless, we fell in love with their ethos instantly and they're prices are very reasonable. Lines & Current make their ethical jewellery from recycled sterling silver and each design is made to last. They also donate 10% of all profits to causes that bring about hope and change in people's lives.

Jewellery is available everywhere these days and it's cheap too, the temptation can be hard to resist. But, cheap usually means someone somewhere has lost out. It also means it will probably change colour in a matter of days.

If you're looking for something special as a gift, or just because you thoroughly deserve it, have a peak at Lines & Current website... you might just find what you’ve been looking for.
